Friuli Venezia Giulia experience on Blue Energy

It’s on BioEcoGeo italian national magazine

It is titled “Energy from the sea” the long article published on the Italian national magazine BioEcoGeo. In the article it is detailed the experience of our Italian partner Informest on the Blue Energy Laboratory that is held from beginning of 2018 in Friuli Venezia Giulia region in the framework of the Maestrale project.

Starting from an overview on Maestrale aims and objectives,  the article explores FVG regional experience on blue energy, detailing actors participating in the regional laboratories, the first results achieved and the two possible pilot projects identified: while the first project is linked to the mechanic supply chain, the second one will be addressed to the exploitation of micro-algae for production of bio-fuels.
In the article it is also announced the training course for SMEs planned for beginning of 2019: “It is a bug opportunity to stimulate research and innovation of SMEs, as actors of the blue energy, that in the future could be one of the most sustainable energetic resources” concluded the journalist.
